You’ve been hit! Oh what fun this snowball fight is. My kids absolutely love this tradition. We love the fun of giving and spreading Christmas cheer. Watching it spread throughout the neighborhood. We all enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood looking at decorations and seeing who all has that round snowman snowball posted out front to see how far it’s gone.
If you’re not sure what a snowball fight is, think of it as a Christmas version of the oh so fun Halloween Boo-ing. But to me, the snowball fight is even easier and takes less effort or planning. We just give prepackaged goodies along with the instructions and snowball printables (keep reading for FREE printable below). Our two kids love to take the bags to unsuspecting neighbors, and leave them on the doorstep. They like to ring the doorbell and then run run as fast as they can.
This year we picked up a few bags of powdered donuts (the snowballs) along with boxes of hot cocoa. In years past, we have even given only the bag of donuts. They are so easy and affordable to hand out! Here’s what we used to package them up with the estimated cost per gift:
- 1 Bag of Powdered Donuts ($2.00)
- 1 Box of Hot Chocolate ($1.50)
- 2 Snowball Fight Prints by Pinkadot (FREE)
- 1 Giftbag ($1)
- 1 Cellophane Bag, optional
- 1 Length of Ribbon or Twine, optional
All this for about $5 per set!
All packed up and ready for delivery! Hopefully you have some anxious little elves to deliver these sweet treats like we have.
I like to include one extra printable in the bags to make passing these along that much easier for the receiver turned giver. They can easily make copies of the single sheet and keep the Christmas cheer moving around the neighborhood. There’s also a link back to this website, so you can download your own fresh copy for yourself.
Go get your cheer on!
I hope you all have a wonderfully CHEERFUL holiday season!
